Don’t let the name fool you. Crapitto’s is a family owned restaurant in a wonderful, 75-year old converted farmhouse tucked away under a few lovely live oaks on a side street near the Galleria. They don’t put on airs here. They simply provide impeccable, unobtrusive service, in a warren of cozy dining areas (including a delightful outdoor patio), and top it off with delicious, lovingly, simply prepared food like Grandma’s Lasagna and Linguine with Clams. Save room for the towering Italian Cream Cake. This place is just fancy enough to take your in-laws, business associates, or romantic interest.
