While searching for a fitting name for the new park located in downtown Houston, The Conservancy heard words such as "vital", "surprising", and "adventurous". Discovery Green opens April 2008, and hosts all kinds of fun activities for families, couples, groups of friends, and the solitary traveler. Complete with an amphitheater, children's theater, and open 'sky gazing' areas, Discovery Green invites you to see, touch, hear, taste, and explore your way through the park.
