Brick interior walls, tree-size plants and hanging Oriental carpets give this Galleria-area Indian restaurant a truly unusual identity. The upbeat jazz music playing softly in the background may at first seem out of place, but then again, this is not a typical or traditional Indian restaurant, which may be a warning to gastronomical purists. Menu items, such as char-grilled kebobs, have been Americanized to appeal to a broader range of tastes, but for the most part few patrons complain, and overall the offerings are quite good.
