This Italian eating joint is owned by Antonia and Nilda Smecca, who took the town of Galveston by storm in 1973 by offering authentic Italain cuisine, served as they do in their home town of Gela, Sicily. The choicest of delicacies, from pastas to pizzas as well as dishes, such as Lasagne, Baked Rigatoni and Eggplant Parmigiana are available here. Try the homemade specials as well, like the famous, 'fly pizza' that gave this restaurant prominence back in the 1970s.
