The Proletariat is not your average neighborhood bar. Perhaps because the neighborhood is one where yuppies, artists, and your everyday working Joe tend to mingle. Or maybe because this particular bar has some of the best live indie bands and area DJs rocking the house, usually after 10 p.m. If karaoke is more your style, don't be afraid to take the stage on any given Friday. Lone Stars are always $2. Happy hour is everyday from 4p-8p And Red-Headed Sluts (one of their specialties) are cheap on Wednesdays.
