This is absolutely the best skiing in the area if you want a challenging ski course. The view of Lake Tahoe is breathtaking at the top of The Great Flume or Golden Eagle Bowl runs. The resort offers cross-country skiing, childcare and a wonderful sports shop. If you are really ambitious, try snowshoeing. You can even bring your dog along for a small fee. For a challenging golf game, you must give this resort a try. The executive 18-hole mountain course is 58-par and designed by Robert Jones Trent, Jr. This is the ideal place if you want to improve accuracy. It was literally carved out of the mountains, and there is no artificial landscape. Your only major distraction will be the incredible views of Lake Tahoe. Available at the same location is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. It has a pro shop and offers lessons by appointment. Tournaments can also be arranged.
