Alpine Meadows Ski Resort

Skiing for the physically challenged
2600 Alpine Meadows Road
Lake Tahoe, CA 96174
United States
+1 530 583 4232
http://www.alpinemeadows.com/
Skiing Magazine called this resort "A mountain with a distinctly split personality: a mild side and a wild side." On the wild side, 75 percent of the runs are for expert skiers. Natural hazards and an elevation of 8,637 feet gives extreme skiers enough challenges to keep them busy all day. On the mild side, students with mental and physical disabilities can enjoy the challenge of skiing at the Tahoe Adaptive Ski School. Adaptive equipment rental is also available. The school operates November through April most seasons depending on snow.

This is another Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design that blends in beautifully with the mountain environment. The golfer enjoys vistas of native wildflowers, which are home to many species of birds and other animal friends. The 6,931-yard, par-71 course is rated one of the 'Top 10 Courses You Can Play' by Golf Magazine. Precision is the name of the game on the link-style meadow and mountain terrain. This incredible place is for the child with an adventurous spirit who does not like to slow down. The kids will splat each other during paintball battles in the dense woods, get wet while they jet ski, water-ski or wakeboard. They will get high on indoor rock climbing, parasailing, bungee jumping or in a glider. Not enough yet? Try balloon rides, kayaking, go-kart racing and more. This camp will be your child's dream come true.
