Dreams were made here and dreams were shattered here. Sinatra sang while Marilyn moped. Kennedy kibitzed and the Rat Pack played. The mob met to do whatever it is that mobs do just because they could. Known as the 'Lady of the Lake', the resort has been a favorite since 1926. Make your own history in this classic casino offering non-stop gaming action. Live music is featured in the famous Circle Bar Saturday nights at 8pm. The deluxe accommodations are extremely comfortable with a lake views.

Cave Rock

Spectacular views of the lake
Highway 50
Lake Tahoe, NV 89413
United States
This wonderful day-use facility is located just south of the Cave Rock tunnel. The name originated from a series of small caves that had been cut away on the west side of the mountain when the lake elevation was 140 feet higher than it is today. This took place during the last Ice Age. The boat ramp makes the lake accessible for watercraft of all sizes. You will find all the comforts necessary to make it an enjoyable outing including restrooms, picnic tables complete with fire pits and barbecues, a small beach and spectacular views. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept leashed.

Showing remarkable sensitivity to kids and families, Northstar-At-Tahoe offers several parent-friendly options for wintertime fun. Special classes teach parents how to teach their kids to ski. The array of snow toys is incredible, and entices adults as well as children. Just saying the word "Snowscoot" is fun- think a Razor scooter minus wheels, but it's even more fun to rent one for just USD10 an hour. The Parents' Predicament lift pass allows either parent to use it to accompany a child, great for families with multiple kids.

Lake Tahoe

Crystal clear waters
455 North Lake Boulevard
(35 miles west of Reno)
Lake Tahoe, CA 96145
United States
Lake Tahoe, which holds enough water to cover the state of California to a depth of 14 inches, was once named 'big water' by the Washoe Indian Tribe. This beautiful, pristine lake, nestled in the Sierra Nevada, is located on the Nevada and California border. The lake is 22 miles long, 12 miles wide and has 72 miles of shoreline. Sixty-three streams flow into the lake; but only one river, the Truckee, flows out of it. One-third of the lake lies in Nevada, and there are miles of biking, hiking and equestrian trails for your outdoor pleasure. Enjoy a multitude of beaches where you can bask in the sun or swim. Whether you come here for recreation or solitude, this breathtakingly beautiful lake will meet all your expectations.
