If you crave solitude, these super cabins are the perfect place to get away from it all. The only way to get here is hike, ski or snowshoe. Each Scandinavian-style building is constructed of hand-hewn logs and attractively furnished. Drinking water, cook stove, quilts and pillows are provided, as well as coffee, tea and cocoa. You bring sheets, pillowcases and food with you. There is an indoor bath that may seem primitive, but it serves the purpose. It was used as a boarding house for lumber and railroad workers during the summer months, and by ice cutters in the winter.
