If you wish to view Lake Tahoe from a different perspective, try the gondola of a hot air balloon. These F.A.A. certified and registered balloons are piloted by well-experienced commercial and instructor-rated aviators. Your leisurely three-hour flight begins at dawn; so be sure to bring a jacket. And don't forget your camera for the most spectacular pictures you will probably ever take in a lifetime. You can meet at site of departure, or a shuttle can pick you up at your hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Advance reservations are an absolute must.

The name of this casino pays homage to the crystal clear lake that has made this region so special. Abandoning the typical casino vibe, MontBleu has created a fresh, more serene feel to its gambling presence. The 40,000-square-foot gaming area invites players with many of the usual suspects: tables and slots. Flat screen TVs decorate The Zone sports book, for all the gamer's fancies. Nightlife options within the casino are copious, including the high-energy nightclub Blu, Opal Eurasion Cuisine & Ultra Lounge, and numerous live performances; this is a place you can take a group and satisfy everyone's mood. The accommodations are simply luxurious with amenities by Aveda and Bleu Cloud Beds. Onsen Spa, an Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa, is a perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes. The numerous dining options include Ciera Steak & Chophouse, del Soul, and a 24-hour diner. You may never have to leave the building, if it weren't for the infinite beauty outside.
