If you can't make it to Egypt, but you are interested in Middle Eastern history, this is the place to go. Located deep inside the Luxor pyramid, the museum is a real treat. Exact reproductions of the young king's tomb and riches will be discovered on this self-directed audio tour. All room measurements and placement of the artifacts are based on the notes of Howard Carter who discovered the original tomb in 1922. It is so realistic, you might just worry about being cursed. Audio tour translations available in English, Japanese, French and Spanish.

The walls are adorned with black and white photos of celebrities taken by noted artist Felice Quinto. Past special events have featured the likes of Elton John and Prince. The music is great and the place is jumping. Beer, wine and cocktails are available starting at USD4.
