+1 702 598 1965
http://www.beautybar.com/
This retro beauty salon-inspired nightclub is uber-trendy, and a good destination in Vegas if you want to take refuge from the casino-infested Strip. The 50's themed bar, complete with old-school salon chairs with hair dryer sets, is just like stepping into a salon, sans booze. DJ's spin seven nights a week with no cover charge, so you can save your money for one their expensive drinks like the Platinum Blonde, or a Shampoo. Unlike their sister spots in San Francisco and LA, Beauty Bar Vegas does not perform "real" manicures. But no worries, they still have the famous "Martini-Manicure Happy Hour," in which they do a manicure demonstration, every bit as good as the real thing.

At Shadow Bar, entertainment comes first. The bar's sensual feel is brought out with shadow dancers. Expensive liquors line the bar and the spirits flow in style as the bartenders do everything from juggling bottles to doing back-flips to keep the crowd going. The entrees on the menu include exotic seafood dishes that are extremely popular; try the fresh oysters or crab cakes. You can find this lively spot at the famous Caesars Palace Hotel Casino.

The Red Rock Casino Resort Spa hosts one of the most elegant, comprehensive steakhouses in Las Vegas. In addition to their impressive 7500 wine loft, T-Bones boasts phenomenal crab cakes, exquisitely prepared steaks, and a generous seafood spread (try the Jumbo Jackpot Platter: Maryland jumbo shrimp, Maine lobster and Alaskan crab). The outdoor patio is smoker-friendly and stays open late (until midnight Su-Th, and until 2:30a F-Sa). An excellent place to celebrate recent winnings or meet with friends for cocktails.

Tabu is everything that a sophisticated nightclub should be. It has a funky vibe and a mesmerizing decor, and is a magnet for the vain and beautiful. The establishment features VIP booths, exotic drink creations and some of the best music and DJs on the strip. And be sure to check out the awesome interactive image-projecting tables that respond to touch and motion. The dance floor is a bit small and can get crowded quite quickly, but the gorgeous in-house models and sexy servers certainly make up for any and all inconveniences.

Tommy Rocker, either alone or with his band, provides much of the entertainment in this establishment. There is a full menu, and locals like to come here for lunch. Video poker is available at the bar and a pool table stands at the ready for a game or two. Unique cocktails are served including an awesome Bloody Mary. If the Caribbean is your bliss, you will like this place. It is also the home of the Las Vegas Parrothead Club!

Once known as one of the original Vegas ultra-lounges, V Bar at the Venetian has morphed into a smaller and more intimate venue but maintained its hipness and sense of high style, perhaps since it was created by the team behind New York's Lotus and L.A.'s Sunset Room. Established DJs create a relaxing, subdued mood most nights, but things get urban and busy on Wednesdays for the weekly Midnight Snack Event, one of the cooler but lesser known nightlife events on The Strip. On these nights, tasty hors d'oeuvres, fashion, art exhibits and house music come together to spice things up. -Brock Radke

Located at the top of the Rio Hotel, this restaurant and nightclub offers some of the most spectacular views of Las Vegas. Diners will enjoy the subdued lighting and elevated booth seating in the restaurant. The nightclub offers all varieties of hard liquor, wines and beers. Menu selections include Backfin blue crab cake, frog legs and Louisiana oysters. An excellent choice is the porterhouse steak with Jack Daniels sauce or the grilled black pepper chicken. There is also a small gift shop where you can purchase a logo T-shirt, or even a "voodoo doll" complete with pins.
