This hotel is located at "the beginning" of the Fremont Street Experience, on the site of the old Union Railroad Depot. Known as Union Plaza when first built in 1971, it was one of the first skyscrapers in downtown Las Vegas. It has been the scene of many a famous Hollywood car chase. The Center Stage Restaurant, on top of the porte cochere and overlooking Fremont Street, is another landmark and excellent eatery with an amazing view. Review © 2009, Wcities |
