A Different Chemistry |
917 Fremont Street Las Vegas, NV 89101-5401 United States +1 702 384 7371 |
Atomic Liquors is open all day, so head here for a drink whether its day or night. Its probably one of the most popular late-night, early-hour watering hole for locals and tourists alike. With no elite ambience, the bar isn't for those who want to drink while they enjoy their classy surroundings, this is purely for hardcore drinkers. The aren't too many fancy drinks available here either, just good old beer and other spirits such as whiskey, rum, vodka and gin. Even with the limited choice available and the non-snazzy ambiance, the place is usually crowded with locals. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Billy Bob's is a good old Texas steak house with portions to satisfy even the heartiest mechanical bull rider. Located in Sam's Town Hotel Casino, this restaurant boasts the classic cowboy decorations including a water wheel and all the usual spurs and saddles. The portions on the steaks, ribs and chicken make this spot a must for anyone with a healthy appetite. And if your appetite also happens to be on steroids, the 28-ounce rib-eye should do the trick. Also try the Grand Canyon fudge cake, but that pretty much goes without saying. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Pancake Pandemonium |
1505 E Flamingo Road Las Vegas, NV 89119 United States +1 702 696 9666 http://www.blueberryhillrestau... |
Pancakes are made completely from scratch and come in a variety of ways, topped with fruits and syrups galore. Other interesting choices include Mexican breakfasts and crepes. Indeed, the menu is eclectic, but most of the dishes are the typical American family style affair. Chicken Fried Steak makes a tasty dinner, as does the Old-Fashioned Meatloaf. If it's earlier in the day, you might settle down with one of the many sandwich options, or a hearty Onion Ring Burger. Of course, any time of day is good for Coconut Cream Pie, so make sure to finish the meal off right. There are a number of other locations in the area. Check the website for a complete listing and a full menu. Review © 2007, Wcities |

A 50s lunch counter |
1122 East Charleston Boulevard Las Vegas, NV 89104 United States +1 702 384 3737 |
A popular place with locals for breakfast and lunch, you can get "Americanized" Chinese food, such as Beef Chow Mein and Egg Foo Yung. But a surprising favorite is Bill Fong's Chinese Cheeseburger. The secret ingredient is the stir-fried bean sprouts, which gives a special crunch. This place has been described as a "Happy Days time warp," with a long lunch counter and swivel stools. Nothing fancy, but it gives you an idea of dining in the 40s and 50s. Review © 2007, Wcities |

This great eatery is simply yet delightfully decorated and has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. For an appetizer, try the Kai Sakamushi, steamed clams with Sake. The entree portion of the menu has many combination dinners with seafood, poultry, pork and beef. If you can't decide, the Tokyo Deluxe Dinner would be an excellent choice. It includes appetizer, chicken, beef, sashimi and sushi, with soup, dessert and tea. Your favorite cocktail, Japanese and domestic beer, Sake and Plum Wine are available. Review © 2007, Wcities |
