Winner of the Las Vegas Review-Journal Best of Las Vegas Readers Poll for hotel gourmet rooms, this lovely dining room inside Mandalay Bay features waterfalls and live swans. The room seems very European, but the menu items are American. Try any of the seafood dishes and you won't go wrong, especially with the Saffron Scallops. Beef and chicken dishes are also offered and are served in classic gourmet room style. One of the best-known features is the wine tower, with a multi-storied wine cellar complete with pulley-climbing wine stewards.

Bally's Steakhouse was one of the first steakhouses to open on the Las Vegas strip and it is still serving prime cuts of tasty beef. Arrive hungry to this restaurant because the portions are hearty. The menu is designed to serve you in courses, so a trip to Bally's Steakhouse means you get a three-course meal with dessert every time. Be sure to save room for that dessert too, because Bally's makes the best Banana Cream Pie and Mile High Sundaes on the strip.
