The grand opening weekend of Asia at Planet Hollywood introduced the newest nightclub in Vegas. Progressive Euro-Asian cuisine- which combines traditional Asian flavors with European/American refinement- is served in an intimate dance club atmosphere. Asia presents special events, celebrity DJs, specialty drinks, and bottle service. Call ahead for reservations and details on special cover charges. Their wine, sake, beer, and spirits menu is exceptional. Have a special dinner and stay for the treats that begin when the clock strikes 11! -Marilee Ryan Review © 2007, Wcities |

Restaurant Gone Nightclub |

Steve Martorano is a big guy with muscles and tattoos. And he can cook up some mean Italian food. His vision: "Part restaurant. Part nightclub. All Italian." The music is loud, ranging from Frank Sinatra in the early evening to Hip Hop and R&B late at night. It's not unusual for people to dance in the aisles, or even on top of their tables. There is no menu. Instead, a waiter rattles off that day's list of about dozen entrées, but the servings are large and meant for sharing. This is a hugely popular attraction at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino, with the prices to go with it, so reservations are highly recommended. Review © 2007, Wcities |
