Vegas patrons just can't get enough Asian Fusion. Ah Sin specializes in Pan-Asian cuisine with French culinary flare. You can move from Thai noodles to Chinese Szechuan beef to a Japanese spider roll to a French dessert in a matter of minutes. The availability of indoor and outdoor seating is also a plus, especially in Vegas where it sometimes feels like you can walk from one end of the strip to the other without ever going outside. Ah Sin is located in the Paris Las Vegas hotel. Call for details. Review © 2009, Wcities |

No Trouble in Little China |

Las Vegas has the only master planned Chinatown built on a strip mall. Chinatown Plaza is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Las Vegas and one of the only places that touts a particular ethnicity. The Plaza boasts many Asian arts and crafts shops, gift stores, a bakery, a Chinese herb shop, a jade store and a plant store where you can get a lucky money tree. Signs placed throughout the area contain factual information about Chinese art and history, so it's a good place to learn a few things in passing. The food is the best reason to visit this attraction, though. You may sample Filipino, Korean, Japanese or Vietnamese specialties in addition to the traditional Chinese fare. Come on down and try a cold Taiwanese boba tea, some pho noodle soup or some fresh sushi! - Marilee Ryan Review © 2009, Wcities |

Fusia, as its name might suggest, is a restaurant specializing in Pan-Asian cuisine located in the Luxor Hotel & Casino. The walls exhibit an artistic exhibition of texture, ranging from smooth mirror to a water-like ripple. The overall ambiance is bright, inviting, and pleasing to the eye. The menu features such delicacies as Maine Lobster with Sweet Ginger and Scallions and Red Wine Braised Boneless "Australian" Kobe Beef Short Ribs. It's even a mouthful to say. The prices are high, but the dishes are top-notch and the experience shouldn't disappoint. See website for details and a full menu. Review © 2009, Wcities |

Gaze at a flowing waterfall while dining on a wide selection of fresh sushi. Located in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, this restaurant is about a lot more than sushi; the menu contains a veritable feast of Asian dishes and cuisines. Have a Vietnamese appetizer, Thai entrée, and Chinese dessert topped off with Japanese drinks. The décor accentuates the food with lots of bamboo and black accents. The service is fast and friendly and meals are big enough to share or perfect for one hungry diner. Review © 2009, Wcities |

If overpriced Asian fusion restaurants and 24 hour Pan-Asian buffets in Las Vegas aren't really your style, then Kimchi is probably a better fit. Here you can choose from Korean BBQ, noodle bowls, hot pot dishes, and regular Korean entrees. Some options include classic Bulgogi with fresh onions and garlic, Sekimi (Beef, skate, cucumber, radish Kimchi, parsley, egg and pear, and Ojingaw Bokeum (Fried, spicy squid). All dishes are authentically prepared and the atmosphere is elegant yet casual. See website for more information and a full menu. Warning: website is easier to navigate if you can read Korean.
