The 24/7 Cafe, located in the Palms Resort & Casino, is available whenever you need a moment's break in Las Vegas. The menu is extensive and serves everything you'd expect from a Vegas restaurant, prime rib, slow cooked spare ribs, burgers, sandwiches, etc., plus there's a whole Chinese menu. Someone out there will undoubtedly stumble by after a long night and decide that Sweet and Sour Pork is exactly what their radioactively drunk body needs. I don't recommend it, but it's nice to know you can try. The 24/7 Cafe offers good food for any meal of the day, is popular among guests and visitors, and the plasma TV's are a nice added touch. Chinatown Plaza is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Las Vegas and one of the only places that touts a particular ethnicity. Once upon a time, the House of Lords was known as a favorite of the Rat Pack who dined there after late-night shows. Now it has been renovated and serves some of the most solid classics on the strip. Located on the main floor of the Sahara Casino and Hotel, it is elegant but casual. It is romantic and known for its excellent service. The food, including Australian lobster tail, bone-in ribeye, and grilled salmon filet, is consistently some of the best around. The Oasis Bar offers smaller fare including peppercorn encrusted scallops and roasted filet mignon with a fine selection of wines and featuring a martini bar. This is old style Vegas at is best.
