Pink Jeeps Tours takes you back in time, where the colorful history of the Old West comes to life in Eldorado Canyon, home to the famed Techatticup mine. On the short journey to this rustic site, you'll enjoy spectacular scenery: fields of teddy bear cholla, rare geologic formations, and an excellent photo opportunity down near the banks of Lake Mojave, the blue jewel of this isolated desert terrain. On your professionally guided tour of the mine you will hear stories of the back-breaking work done by prospectors over a century ago as they chased gold veins deep into this rugged mountainside, as well as listen to tales of yesteryear's gunfights and lawlessness of this once-frontier territory. The tour lasts 4 hours. Review © 2009, Wcities |

You'll encounter breathtaking features at picturesque places like the Court of the Patriarchs, Angel's Landing, The Great White Throne, Temple of Sinawava, and Weeping Rock. Zion National Park is truly a photographer's paradise, where the vistas are stunning from every point on the compass. Tours last 9-10 hours. Review © 2009, Wcities |
