Give your family a taste of the West! A short drive from the city, this ranch is a miniature replica of the old days, when much of the country was a cowboy's domain. Learn all about desert wildlife |

There are two main parts of this Gilcrease property. First, the animal sanctuary, which is home to birds and other wild animals needing care and shelter. The Wild Wing project to rehabilitate injured birds cares for exotic and domestic birds. The Gilcrease Orchards allows people to pick their own apples, apricots, pears and other fruit, depending on the season. This is a wonderful spot at the MGM Grand to spend an hour or two gazing at the lions and cubs in their multi-level, state-of-the-art showcase and natural habitat. Admission is free, but you will have a 'photo opportunity' for pictures of you with the lions. There's also a gift shop, with lots of fun toys, stuffed animals and clothing.
