The Blank Canvas is rather new, as it had its first gig in 2002, situated underneath Leeds Railway Station and next to the Hilton Hotel. It has a capacity of 1,000 people during gigs and club venues. This Victorian-style concert hall has hosted Bradford's orchestral season for the past 134 years. Don't worry if you're no Fred Astaire, this regional dance centre welcomes dancers of all abilities. Regular classes are held in salsa, tap, ballet, jazz, ballroom the list goes on! You can also learn the relaxing arts of yoga and t'ai chi or take the kids along to special workshops to let off some steam! One-off workshops are regularly run at the centre and its evening dance performances are always popular. Yorkshire dance centre runs classes and stages events at centers across the community.
