This has got to be the cosiest and quietest pub in this area of Leeds. The Chemic Tavern is a proper pub without any fancy stuff - there's no food or live music here and it's a pleasant place to come for a pint. It's always full, with a mixture of locals and students - a combination which seems to work well. The small front room has an open fire, which adds to the cosy vibe in the winter.
