The interior of St Albans Church is a truly awe-inspiring location for this rock climbing enthusiast's paradise. Awesome Walls, the indoor rock-climbing centre is just half a mile north of the city centre. Inside there is a selection of bright and colourful climbing walls including the Gladiators Wall ,try it if you dare. Fully qualified instructors and experienced rock climbers staff the centre. Individuals and groups are welcome, but groups must pre-book their visit. One-hour taster sessions are available and the price includes instructor and equipment hire.
