The marine lake on New Brighton seafront is a popular location for a wide range of water sports. Jet-ski training is available at EUR70 per day or a 15-minute taster session will cost just £15. Powerboat training costs EUR150 for two days and plain sailing is around EUR5 per hour. As a Royal Yachting Association and British Canoe Union training centre, the school is a member of the A.A.L.A. Changing and shower facilities are provided.

+44 1704 539701 One of the many reasons to visit this delightful Victorian town is the local marina surrounded by a boating lake and promenade. Visitors can bring their own boats or hire one of the varied selection moored at the lake. Children love to ride on the grand 70-seat Mississippi-style paddle steamer, complete with a licensed bar, waitress service and guide. Board the 12-seater jet boat from the mile length slipway and take a spin around the lake for around £1.50 per person.
