The Albert Dock has an abundance of excellent bars and restaurants and this is no exception. Brick walls and a stone floor create an ideal background for huge leather sofas and candlelit tables, while the decor includes a mixture of 1970's-style panels and suggestive artwork. The upstairs Grill, complete with great views and decorative lighting, offers an excellent range of fancy burgers, kebobs and specialty dishes. Situated within the Est Est Est bar complex at the Albert Dock, this is a great place to enjoy well-prepared American style food. The menu has descriptive titles, for example Ready Steady Go is a platter of starters or Steak Rattle and Roll for delicious juicy steaks. The burgers are succulent, tasty, char-grilled to perfection and arrive served on a lightly toasted sesame bun with fries and a bowl of salad. Vegetarians are not forgotten with chunky salmon steaks, tuna bake, crispy battered plaice or Cajun style shrimps. Ideal for families, but the service can be a little unpredictable. Contemporary and stylish, this club is one of many great eating and drinking venues around the Albert Dock. The conversion from a warehouse Grade I-listed building to an exciting and inviting bar has proved very successful. Exposed brickwork, candlelight, comfy leather seating and graceful columns provide a perfect environment for a pleasant lunch or a fun night out.
