Japanese food is now firmly established in the Western world as an haute and healthy cuisine, so it's no surprise that this Soho Japanese supermarket is extremely popular with both Japanese residents and London foodies hoping to find some seaweed for their sushi party. Very comprehensive and very central (this part of Brewer Street, known as Little Tokyo, is home to many authentic noodle and sushi bars), it stocks all the essential ingredients: nori, tofu, soy sauce, dried noodles, Japanese beers and saké, as well as fresh yakitori, onigri, and pre-packed bento boxes.
