As its name suggests, Bar Latino is going for that Hispanic feel, but it should be pointed out that it skillfully avoids the tackiness of many other establishments following the same theme. The decor is tasteful and the bar boasts a dance floor that heaves as the DJs do their Latino thing. The music is good and authentic (from salsa to samba) and a definite hit with the lively revelers that fall mainly into the twenty to thirty age group. The drinks selection is extensive, including what you'd expect in the way of lagers and spirits but there's also a whole host of interesting Latin American cocktails. Another branch is located at Frith Street, Soho, London W1.
