This restaurant is currently being updated and will open anew on March 11, 2007. Widely touted as London's oldest Jewish eatery, Blooms is more family restaurant than Kosher deli. It has a faithful following, which, given its location, is hardly surprising. The decor is old-fashioned and faded, with interesting murals of Jewish feasts and pristine waiters in white tuxedos. Old recipe Kosher dishes are on offer, including Chicken Soup, Latkes (Jewish pancakes) and Gefilte Fish, and all are carefully prepared.
