The Blue Anchor is a small pub found perched on the north bank of the River Thames, just up the river from the ornate Hammersmith Bridge. It has an intimate atmosphere that is easy to sink into, the only background noise being the hum of conversation. At the front, there are benches overlooking the river, ideal for balmy evenings and long hot summer Sundays.
