This busy-busy Soho destination pulls in the beer-swilling masses and the motto here is "drink and be merry". Set in an attractive period building, despite the now rather irrelevant American adornments out front, there are two bars, a restaurant and a dance floor, so there's plenty of space for loafing or dancing. The interior is colorful, adding zing to what is already a lively venue, where the emphasis is unashamedly geared towards alcohol absorption rather than the eating experience. The menu however has taken on a more general international appeal of late, but still has a few American/Cajun offerings. Choose from the likes of Mediterranean vegetable bruschetta, followed by char-grilled swordfish steak with black olive butter. Desserts are fairly standard sweet soothers. Review © 2009, Wcities |
