Travelling out to The Brackenbury restaurant, which is tucked away on the stretch of a road that runs from Shepherds Bush to Chiswick, might seem like a bit of a trek, but once you have sampled its menu, you'll be glad you made the effort. Small, with tables slotted in close together, it still manages to hang on to its elegant and modern feel. Food-wise there is a strong Mediterranean influence on the cooking, with fresh herbs and vegetables featuring highly on a menu best described as modern British cuisine! All the dishes are beautifully presented, without appearing fussy. Prices are fairly high, but seem not to deter its loyal following. Review © 2009, Wcities |
