Chelsea can't claim to have many decent clubs, but the newly opened The Bridge can claim to be one of them, and throws in a separate bar (called Bar-Room-Bar, or simply BRB) as part of the deal. This isn't the greatest place for a midday pint (it's very dark for a start), but come evening it serves fantastic wood fired pizzas. One inventive addition to the menu is that you can buy pots of nibbles like jelly beans, and it's the kitsch details like that which give away the clientele as being rather pretentious types. There's a live DJ on Thursdays to Saturdays to get you in the mood to move on to The Bridge, so this is basically a great place to warm up for a night out. Review © 2009, Wcities |
