Found within a stone's throw of South Kensington tube station, La Brioche is decorated in simple lines and colours. Its large glass front lets light stream in during the summer and, in giving customers a full view of the busy traffic outside, enhances the relative feeling of calm when you enter. The background music is smooth and uplifting, and the mixed clientele seem very relaxed. Coffees, fresh juices, croissants and pains, sandwiches and fresh fruit are all on offer, and the soup of the day is reliably good. Review © 2009, Wcities |
