This open-fronted shop is the only specialist poultry butcher remaining in a market famed for its poultry since the Middle Ages. Established in 1881, the current owner, Mr Butcher (naturally), is proud of his unusual selection of game, which includes widgeon, woodcock, mallard, guinea fowl and rabbit when in season (August to February).
