Asparagi in Piuma, Tortelloni ai Porcini, Branzino del Porto and Filetto con verdure al Balsamico are not just tongue-twisters but delicious preparations cooked in olive oil from Lucca. Caldesi takes 'Italian' cooking to great lengths and even imports Grappa, the traditional wine, from Tuscany. Espresso and other beverages also bear the Italian accent. Interesting murals adorn the walls and wooden floors give the place a rustic appearance. Cookery classes are conducted every month.
