Dennis Severs' House is a historical journey into 18th century England. Severs the architect of this house calls it a 'Still Life Drama'. It is like experiencing how people lived in those days. The house has ten rooms, with no lights and people actually walk into the house with a candle light and the light thrown by the fire-place. The creaking stairs, ticking and chiming clocks, a lone black cat mewing all adds to the climate. Walking through the house in today's age of computers and Internet is thrilling and awe inspiring.
