Wander into Dinos in Mayfair and you'll find yourself transported to another land. The stone-effect walls, scenic wall and ceiling murals, pink table-cloths and fake flowers give the place a provincial feel, and the friendly, Italian manager will make you feel right at home. Quite family orientated, the whole atmosphere is a refreshing contrast to the desperately trendy restaurants that can be found around much of central London. The menu offers the usual selection of pasta, but there are some interesting mains and specials (for example, monkfish and pheasant) for the more adventurous. Or pop in for breakfast to munch on tasty pastries, and they do a great cappuccino. In summer, sit outside to watch the world go by, or eat inside in winter to bath in Dinos borrowed sunshine.
