An exquisite Regency period building close to Regent's Park provides the lovely setting for the Dorset Square Hotel. It overlooks a tree filled garden which was the original site of Thomas Lords cricket ground in 1787. The hotel is completely original in decor with exclusive English style interiors, original oil paintings and fresh flowers. Colours are rich and the individuality of each room means that many guests retain a favourite. One of the main features is a drawing room recently redesigned by Kit Kemp, it's now a sumptuous mix of ethnic furniture, antiques and textured fabrics. Popular with classical musicians, who have at last found rooms large enough to sleep themselves and their instruments, it would be difficult to find a more personable place to stay.
