Earls Court Arena

Supine in the Sunshine
Warwick Road
London, London SW5 9TA

This arena has been a major venue for music concerts for years. Years ago, Earls Court used to be a waste ground. Later with the birth of the railroad, two stations were constructed and it became a mass network of rail on derelict grounds. Later it was sold and plans were made to construct Europe's largest exhibition centre, but the party ran out of money. Then it opened its door to the public for the chocolate and confectionery exhibition in 1937. These days, Earls Court One is large enough to hold four jumbo jets. Earls Court One was followed by Earls Court Two which opened in 1991. Famous international acts such as Led Zepplin, Kylie Minogue, Morrissey, Rod Stewart, Take That, Madonna, Bryan Adams and Pink Floyd have performed to a packed house and a spellbound audience of 15,000 here. The arena has, on several occasions, held large crowds. Tickets can be booked online, on their website or by phone. The venue is also used as an exhibition centre because of the large space it offers. Exhibitors can book the location online.
