Real Lebanese food |

Although the Lebanese people are not fans of spicy food, Lebanese restaurants in the UK often make their dishes hotter because its more appealing to the British palette. Not so this charming, actually authentic Lebanese restaurant, a fact which could explain its loyal mid-Eastern clientele. So, although Fakhreldine's large, open-plan room looks like any other mid-range Lebanese eatery, with Moorish archways, stained glass and mirrors, the food is the real deal. Charcoal grilled meat and Mediterranean favourites are the specialities, and the meze (appetisers) and kibbeh (fried bulgur wheat and ground lamb croquettes) are delicious. Fakhreldine also enjoys a central location overlooking Green Park which is perfect for a spot of people watching over lunch. Review © 2009, Wcities |
