As the beating heart of rock in Soho, the Intrepid Fox can be intimidating. Don't expect to get past the doorman on a Saturday night unless you're clad in black. The downstairs bar is always packed and boisterous, and it serves Newcastle Brown Ale which is an elusive commodity in the West End. It makes an ideal place to meet up before heading on to a club. The upstairs bar has its own DJ in a cage, an impressive sound system, a pitch-black pool table, and plenty of nooks and crannies for making a night of it.
