Sushi and other Pacific Rim delights |
118 Draycott Avenue South Kensington London, London SW3 3AE http://www.itsu.co.uk |
Japanese conveyor-belt chic has become an established sight in South Kensington, but this particular restaurant is a former winner of the Time Out Best Oriental award. There is no need to book - just walk in and perch yourself on a stool. The food is so beautifully sculpted that the whole outing could be termed a modern art multi-sensory experience. The amount you pay is determined by the colour of your plate(s), and how many you manage to stack up. The crockery ranges from £2.50-£4 per plate, but you shouldn't need to eat a whole rainbow in order to feel full. Sushi is not the only offering - they also present hot and cold Japanese food with a modern slant. Review © 2009, Wcities |
