Stylishly kitsch clothes

Jauko is an acronym for Japan, UK and Korea but when you enter the bright, plainly decorated shop, it's not immediately obvious why this is so. Most of the riotously colourful 1950s' inspired dresses and even brighter monochrome tops come from Italy. There are a few pieces, like the bags and the cute beaded slippers, that come from Korean and Japanese sources. And, of course, there are the Hello Kitty accessories and Japanese scarves. Jauko does stylish kitsch perfectly. Check out Pamela's dresses that feature postcard vistas of Italy in loud technicolour. Some of the more subdued dresses are perfect for evening engagements.
