The weekend brings life to this minute old-fashioned dairy shop/cafe. Benches in the alleyway become coveted seats on Sundays when musicians busk and the crowds pour by, heading off for the Columbia Raod Flower Market. First-rate lemon squash, homely mugs of hot chocolate and cafetiere coffee are proffered. Lemon cheesecake, bagel sandwiches, loaves of bread and cheeses are quickly snapped up.
