This small boutique is a find for fashion aficionados who are always on the look out for one-offs and hot young designers. Annie Saunders and Kery Seager started recycling old garments in the early nineties, transforming work uniforms into something more feminine or Savile Row suit jackets into their trademark "cross-over" halter tops. They also offer shirts that have buttons that spiral across their entirety rather than staying in a straight line in front, and 'half suits': trousers with a skirt in the back. Sound strange? Well, it should, considering John Galliano has already drawn inspiration from this duo's creations. Review © 2009, Wcities |
