Contemporary European cuisine is the order of the day at The Larder. There are plenty of fish and meat dishes, but vegetarians have a wide range of options, as well. Some of their more daring dishes involve traditional Spanish foods like chorizo and manchego cheese, which are complemented by the diverse wine list. The Larder is semi-casual -- not a joint by any means, but not stuffy, either. The decor is simple and clean, and the wait-staff is helpful without being officious. A large wooden table in a private dining room is perfect for family get-togethers or a business lunch. The portions are generous, so be sure to save room for the rich desserts, such as the hot chocolate pudding. The bar is open M-Sa 11a-11p.
