As far as appearances go, Latitude is not the most likely candidate for a Japanese restaurant, but it is an altogether superb sushi experience. Comfortable, contemporary surroundings and subtle lighting conspire to create an upbeat and relaxing atmosphere, catering to a smart twenty-to-thirty-something clientele. The glamorous bar is an invitation to sip champagne cocktails, confirming that Latitude is as much a bar as it is a restaurant, and leather-bound menus and sushi holders are just some of the finer touches that set it apart. The sushi is excellent, particularly the California rolls, and therefore good value for money.
