The chic chrome fittings of Legend's industrial-look interior serve to confirm its reputation as a meat-market for beautiful people. A subdued colourfulness and candlelit Buddha replicas also suggest a mock-Zen atmosphere. The music is a garage/house mix, but the main emphasis is on being noticed - it's a place to preen and pose. Legends is available for private hire for parties, photo shoots, fashion shows and promotions. Club membership is free and entitles queue jumping and concessions. Over 21s only. The lunchtime restaurant is something of a local legend itself, serving contemporary British and European dishes such as foie gras parfait with toasted brioche or crab fritters with hand made chutney.
