This market is named after the pub that used to be next door. Now, the market is on a new site in the same area and has a roof - believe me, when it starts raining, you'll wonder why other markets don't do the same. Flea markets are often in less than reputable areas, and this ones no different (watch out for the men selling dodgy cigarettes on every corner), so it's probably a good thing that it runs during the day. But the crowds of people all looking for bargains in clothes, household goods, toys, accessories and food all create a great buzz on the weekends. Review © 2009, Wcities |
