This tiny courtyard in Covent Garden is home to the most stunningly wonderful array of speciality cheeses and other home-grown dairy produce you have ever seen. Since 1979, Neal's Yard has scoured the country looking for the best, most succulent selection of British and Irish cheeses available, and often buys stock from small, family run producers. They spend time getting their choices right and make sure that the temperature and moisture levels in the shop will provide the perfect conditions for maturation, making each purchase your tastiest ever. Particularly recommended are Montgomery's Cheddar, Colston Bassett Stilton and Appleby's Cheshire, but if you find yourself spoilt for choice, an expert assistant will be on hand to help out. Also sells fresh bread and other gourmet foods. Another branch is located at Borough Market, 6 Park Street.
